What are Live Guest Portraits?
The ultimate wedding entertainment! Guests will be thrilled to see their likeness come to life on paper in the form of a beautiful illustration. Live Guest Portraits are a fantastic form of entertainment that adds an elevated touch of elegance and luxury, and a wonderful, personalized way for guests to look back on the memories made.
Live Guest Portraits are created in watercolor, gouache, and ink, and portraits can take 5-12 minutes for an individual or two guests per paper. While a limited number of portraits can be created at the event, each Live Guest Portrait package includes a set number of VIP Tickets to distribute to your most beloved guests, ensuring that they will receive a portrait!
How it works
When your guests arrive to my live portrait station, I will take a Polaroid photo of them to sketch from, and ask that they write their name and contact information on the Polaroid. Guests can mingle and dance the night away without having to sit at my station to be drawn, or, they can stay and watch the magic unfold! The first hour of my time is typically spent capturing photos, and the remaining time is spent illustrating. When the guest wedding sketch is complete, it will be placed in a protective sleeve along with the Polaroid photo, and will be put in a designated pick up area at my station - guests can check back throughout the night. Since a limited number of portraits can be completed at the event, you will receive a set amount of VIP tickets prior to your wedding, to give to your most precious guests and ensure that they receive a portrait at the event.
I can complete roughly 10 portraits (1-2 people per paper) in an hour. Additional time can be purchased to give more guests the opportunity to receive their own bespoke, beautiful guest portrait!
The Live Guest Portrait Package Includes:
• A minimum 5 hours of live guest portrait entertainment on site.
• A detailed consultation prior to your event.
• All professional grade media and protective materials for each portrait.
• Your names and event date printed or stamped on each portrait paper.
• A polaroid photograph of each guest/couple included with each portrait.
• A set amount of VIP Tickets to ensure your most precious guests receive a portrait during the event.
• Completion of any remaining portraits, done after the event in my studio, to ensure as many guests as possible can receive a portrait.
• A complimentary detailed illustration of or for the clients/newlyweds. (completed before or after the event).
• Shipping of any remaining portraits completed after the event to the couple/client.
