How It Works

On the day of the event, I arrive to the venue to set up, prep, and begin to paint the background of the painting. I will pose the couple prior to the festivities, choosing a composition that matches the couples’ painting vision, or emulating a chosen moment, such as the ceremony or first dance. I take any additional reference photos needed, then proceed to paint magic in front of your guests throughout the night, thrilling them with the experience of watching an empty canvas come to life!

At the end of the evening, I ensure that the couple is painted in, allowing an opportunity for a reveal.

I take the painting back to my studio for a twelve week studio period to finish any details, additions, varnish the piece for archival quality, and photograph it. You can spend your evening as newlyweds without having to worry about transporting a painting after a long, love-filled night with friends and family. At the end of the studio period, I connect with you to show you the final painting before it is sealed/varnished. Small additions or small changes can be made at this time.

With approval from the couple, the finished painting is shipped or locally delivered to you, ready to let you relive the magic of your day forever, and let the memories persevere the test of time.
